NEW DELHI: Most PSU bank shares were trading in the negative zone in Wednesday's session.
Shares of Oriental Bank of Commerce (down 2.95 per cent) , Bank of India (down 1.87 per cent) , Union Bank of India (down 1.53 per cent) and Punjab National Bank (down 1.38 per cent) were trading with losses.
Bank of Baroda (down 1.06 per cent), Central Bank of India (down 0.33 per cent) and IDBI Bank (down 0.33 per cent) too were among the top losers.
The Nifty PSU Bank index was trading 0.03 per cent up at 2974.45 around 12:34 pm on Wednesday.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 61 points at 10,746.6 while BSE Sensex was up 271.47 points at 35784.61.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 24 were trading in the green, while 26 were in the red.
Shares of YES Bank, Ashok Leyland, Idea Cellular, Infosys, L&T Fin Holding, ICICI Bank, Indian Oil Corp, SBI, Bank of Baroda, NTPC, Vedanta and Sun Pharma were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
