New World Fund, Smallcap World Fund sell Vakrangee shares

New World Fund Inc and Smallcap World Fund Inc have sold a total of 1.5% stake in Vakrangee on Monday, bulk deal data on the NSE showed.

The data showed that New World Fund sold 1.06 crore shares or 1% stake in Vakrangee at Rs 253.27 per share and Smallcap World Fund sold 53.12 lakh shares or 0.5% stake in Vakrangee at Rs 253.27 per share.

The data separately showed that Martin Currie Global Emerging Markets Fund bought 71.33 lakh shares or 0.67% stake at Rs 257.3 per share. Shares of Vakrangee ended in the 5% lower circuit at Rs 233.20 on the BSE on Monday.
