Riyadh, (Business News Report)|| Masraf Al Rayan announced the signing of an agreement with Estithmar Holding aimed at real estate development, in the entertainment city Doha, Winter Wonderland.
Masraf Al Rayan also said that the agreement with Estithmar Holding was through its subsidiary Estithmar Ventures Real Estate Development Company.
The agreement was also signed by Iman Al-Nuaimi, Director of Corporate Relations and Marketing Department at Masraf Al Rayan, and Henrik Christiansen, CEO of Estithmar Holding Q.P.S.C, in the presence of Fahd bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, CEO of Masraf Al Rayan, and Moataz Al Khayat, Chairman of Estithmar Holding.
Under this agreement, Masraf Al Rayan became one of the main sponsors of Doha’s Winter Wonderland entertainment city.
Doha Winter Wonderland is considered the most important tourist attraction on Al Maha Island, and it constitutes, along with other attractions on the island, a quantum leap in the tourism and entertainment sector in the State of Qatar, and is expected to receive more than 1.5 million visitors annually.
Estithmar Holding Q.P.S.C and IMG International are participating in the implementation of this project, in cooperation with Qatar Tourism and Qatari Diar.
Doha’s Winter Wonderland will be operated by IMG, a global leader in global events, shows and entertainment destinations, and will operate the iconic Winter Wonderland theme park in London’s Hyde Park.
It also presents many major international events such as the Frieze Art Fair, entertainment shows at New York Fashion Week, and the Miami and Madrid tennis tournaments.
Doha Winter Wonderland covers an area of 93,000 square meters and contains 50 different games, including 10 for lovers of adventure and excitement, a roller coaster, 25 for families, 15 for children, in addition to a giant spinning wheel, which offers entertainment experiences for all groups and ages.
In turn, Mr. Fahd bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, CEO of Al Rayan Bank, said: “We are pleased to be a major sponsor of one of the largest leisure tourism projects in the country, which is operated by reputable international companies in the field of entertainment, in support of Qatar’s national strategy for the tourism sector within the vision of Qatar 2030”.
