Bookies have made the Labour leader the favourite to take over from Mrs May – with the PM being 5/2 to be replaced by the end of 2018.

Brexit has once again sparked fury as her Brexit withdrawal agreement seems to have been pulled from a “meaningful vote” in the House of Commons.

Sharks are now circling Mrs May as she faces open rebellion from within the Tory ranks – and calls of a no confidence vote from Labour and the MP.

Mrs Mays future as PM seems to be staked the on the success of her controversial Brexit deal – which has been criticised for leaving Britain in the pocket of the EU.

Labour have been looking to capitalise on the chaos as they push for a General Election.

“Sharks are now circling Mrs May”

Ladbrokes bookies have given Corbyn odds of 4/1 to be the next Prime Minister amid the carnage in Westminster.

Corbyn enjoyed a major surge in popularity during last years election – costing Mrs May her majority after she gambled on securing the Commons.

Labour are expected to vote down the deal, which the MP for Islington branded as “disastrous”.

He described it as the “worst of all worlds”, a “botch Brexit” and added “we dont have a functioning government”.

Corbyn said: "The Government has decided Theresa Mays Brexit deal is so disastrous that it has taken the desperate step of delaying its own vote at the eleventh hour.

“We have known for at least two weeks that Theresa Mays worst of all worlds deal was going to be rejected by Parliament because it is damaging for Britain.

"Instead, she ploughed ahead when she should have gone back to Brussels to renegotiate or called an election so the public could elect a new government that could do so.

“We dont have a functioning government. While Theresa May continues to botch Brexit, our public services are at breaking point and our communities suffer from dire under-investment.”

Boris Johnson and Dominic Raab are distant second placed runners at 8/1 each, according to Ladbrokes.

Johnson has long been considered a successor to Mrs May, and resigned in protest of her Brexit plans during the summer alongside David Davis.

Raab also quit over Brexit last month amid a flurry of resignations which was a major wobble for Mrs May.

Both are seen as potential candidates to deliver a harder Brexit more pleasing to the rebel Tories.

Theresa May

And then bringing up joint third place, all with 10/1 are Jeremy Hunt, Sajid Javid, and Michael Gove.

Hunt and Javid are traditional allies of Mrs May and would be expected to press on with her vision of Brexit.

Gove meanwhile heavily backed Brexit during the referendum campaign – but appeared to back May during last months resignations.

He was branded one of the “Pizza Plotters” who was reportedly working to change Mrs Mays deal from within the Cabinet.

Jacob Rees-Mogg

NO-CONFIDENCE: Jacob Rees-Mogg has fallen back in the odds after his failed coup (Pic: GETTY)

Jacob Rees-Mogg is a distant fourth with odds of 16/1 following his failed coup in November.

The Tory toff had attempted to mobilise his powerful European Research Group faction to oust Mrs May last month with a vote of no-confidence – but failed to get the correct number of letters to the Conservatives ruling 1922 Committee.

Brexit was dealt another blow today as the European Court of Justice ruled Britain can revoke Article 50 without permission from the EU.

Campaigners are seizing on this amid hopes of a second referendum – or Peoples Vote – in bid to either have a say on the Brexit deal, or totally overturn the result to keep Britain in the EU.
