Cryptocurrencies are making gains led by Dogecoin


London, (Business News Report) – Cryptocurrencies have achieved gains, Thursday morning, led by Dogecoin, which came among the most profitable currencies.

By 6:05 GMT, the market capitalization of cryptocurrencies jumped to $2.07 trillion.

The number of digital currencies in the market reached 9,953 coins.


Dogecoin and Litecoin led the rise among the most popular currencies. The first rose by more than 13.65%, and the latter rose by more than 6.3%.

At the level of all the cryptocurrencies in the market, the rise was led by, which increased 15.05% at a price of $0.536779.

Dogecoin came in second place as the most rising currency.

In third place was the OmiseGOOMG coin, which increased by 13% to $6.19.

Meanwhile, the dollar index fell yesterday to its lowest level in two months. This is after data showed that inflation in the United States recorded in December the largest annual increase in nearly four decades.

The benchmark 10-year US Treasury yields also fell.

In a related context, TripleA, which is interested in cryptocurrency statistics, said that 300 million people around the world use digital currencies.

The company explained that the Saudis occupy the third place, as the most Arabs use digital currencies.

There are a total of 453,000 Saudis who own this type of digital currency, according to a report published by TripleA, a company dealing with cryptocurrencies, Al-Madina newspaper reported.

Egypt ranked first in the Arab world with the largest number of cryptocurrency owners. There are about 1.8 million Egyptians who own crypto. Morocco ranked second with 878,000 owners.

There are more than 18,000 international companies that allow payment in this type of currency.

Other cryptocurrencies

Bitcoin BTC rose by 2.26% to $43,707.79.

Ethereum ETH rose by 3.9% to $3,340.96.

Binance coin BNB rose by 4.67% to $481.90.

Cardano ADA coin rose by 5.70% to $1.28.

XRP coin price rose by 3.81% to $0.794579.

Polkadot DOT coin also rose by 4.10% to $26.87.

DOGE coin (Dogecoin) rose by 13.65% to $0.174187.

Litecoin (LTC) currency rose by 6.31% to reach $140.16.

Chainlink LINK coin fell 0.77% to $26.28.
