The man who founded a cryptocurrency known as ‘Bitcoin for porn’ has been accused of disappearing with investors’ money.

Four people who ploughed their cash into Fantasy Market have claimed the creator of the digital currency – Jonathan Lucas – has failed to repay their investment, the New York Post reports.

We are not naming the crypto-entrepreneur because we have been unable to verify his identity.

‘He scammed us and run off with the cryptocurrency,’ one investor told the newspaper.

Fantasy Market was a currency designed to be used to watching streaming porn and used denominations called FMTokens.

The founder of the digital dosh claimed to have been looking to raise $25million but is thought to have managed to raise between $2million and $4million.

But investors have been finding it difficult to get their cash back.

One investor who did get a refund was annoyed after getting a cash sum which is equal to the amount he invested in September.

‘But since the coin has more than tripled in value since then, they kept the rest of my contribution, essentially stealing quite a lot of money from me,’ he said.

On the Fantasy Market website, a notice has been posted which says that anyone wanting to get a refund needs to apply within the next 90 days.

It said: ‘Any remaining investors who have not received their refund should contact [email protected].’
