Mrs May has had a rough week as she called off a key vote on Brexit much to the fury of her MPs and had to go back to Brussels with her deal.
She is facing open revolt from the Tory party and condemnation from all sides of the House of Commons.
And it appears her job is on the line, with her future as Prime Minister now tied to the success or failure of her deal on Brexit.
The PM has now faced another stumbling block as she ended up getting stuck in her own car as she arrived for talks with Merkel in Berlin.
Her aide went to open the door, and there was then an excruciating ten seconds as they struggled to release Mrs May.

Video shows the Prime Minister's car pulling up as Merkel stands waiting to begin the key talks – with Mrs May in the midst of a whistle-stop tour of Europe.
Her aide then climbs out of the car and goes to open the door as Mrs May sits in the backseat.
She then pauses, before trying the door again, as it appears the Black Mercedes rear door is jammed.
The car's driver then begins to climb out, before after the painfully long wait the Prime Minister finally emerges and greets Merkel.

Mrs May's tour of Europe has been marred by circling sharks back at home, with top Tory MP Steve Baker calling for his colleagues to pass a vote of no-confidence in the PM.
Downing Street have pledged there will be a "meaningful vote" in the Commons on Mrs May's Brexit deal before January 21.
Campaigners from both sides have criticised the PM's deal – the Brexit Withdrawal Agreement – and some are now calling for a second referendum, or a People's Vote.
EU chiefs today real Mrs May's Brexit deal is the only one possible – but there was "further clarifications and further interpretations without opening the withdrawal agreement".
