NEW DELHI: The S&P BSE Capital Goods index was trading 0.77 per cent up at 18,469 around 11:20 am (IST) on Monday, with shares of ABB India (up 2.48 per cent) and Mahindra CIE Automotive (up 2.27 per cent) gaining over 2 per cent.
Shares of Siemens (up 1.78 per cent), Kalpataru Power Transmissions (up 1.64 per cent), Bharat Electronics (up 1.56 per cent), GE T&D India (up 0.98 per cent), Larsen & Toubro (up 0.93 per cent), Sadbhav Engineering (up 0.85 per cent), Va Tech Wabag (up 0.77 per cent), V-Guard Industries (up 0.74 per cent) and Suzlon Energy (up 0.67 per cent) were also trading up in the index around that time.
However, shares of Welspun Corp (down 2.47 per cent), SKF India (down 0.76 per cent), Havells India (down 0.61 per cent), Reliance Naval and Engineering (down 0.28 per cent), Greaves Cotton (down 0.22 per cent), Bharat Heavy Electricals (down 0.22 per cent), Finolex Cables (down 0.21 per cent) and Thermax (down 0.17 per cent) were trading in the red around that time.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was 66 points up at 10,399, BSE Sensex was 214 points up at 33,677.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty50 index, 35 were trading in the green, while 15 were in the red.
