The winners of the 2019 Little League World Series are flying home from Washington to Louisiana in style—aboard Air Force One.
President Donald Trump met with the Eastbank All-Stars at the White House on Friday, Oct. 11. Then he gave them a ride home.
The players met again with Trump at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland, where they boarded the presidential plane together.
Trump was headed to Louisiana for a political rally in Lake Charles.
Congressman Steve Scalise (R-La.) joined the team on the trip.
In addition to the White House, they toured the U.S. Capitol building during their visit to Washington on Friday.
Scalise said the boys enjoyed pizza and M&Ms on the flight home.
They certainly earned it.
The team beat Curacao 8-0 and won Louisianas first-ever Little World Series title in August. Trump extended a special invitation to the team to visit him in Washington 95 minutes after Scalise declared team winners on social media.
Congratulations to Louisianas Champions. See you at the White House!
