After facing criticism from Hunter Biden, Donald Trump Jr. revealed the main difference between the Trumps and the Bidens: “We were international business people before politics.”
Speaking on Fox News “Hannity,” Trump Jr. said that neither he nor his father was politicians before Trump was elected.
“You know what the difference between the Bidens and us are?” Trump asked. “We were international business people before politics, and we gave up doing all new deals going forward.”
“We didnt become magically international business people because of our political position,” he added. “He [President Trump] put that all aside for years.”
He said that if he took $1.50 or $1.5 billion from China, the “fake news media” would lash out.
“We would solve the fake news problem because their heads would explode and there would be none of them left,” Trump said.
Republicans are claiming that Hunter Biden was offered a job with a gas company in Ukraine because he is the son of Joe Biden, the former vice president.
“Let me tell you the difference between the no-show Bidens and us—we were international business people before politics, and we gave up all new deals going forward,” Trump Jr. remarked.
It came after Biden took a shot at Trump Jr. in an ABC interview, calling him “Prince Humperdinck.”
Trump Jr. faced backlash for his statement to Fox News. But he later pushed back against the critics.
