LG’s Objet TV: Smart and unique design

Objet TV

LG has launched its new Objet TV, which is a smart TV with a unique and elegant design.

Objet is great for people who hate TVs, as it is integrated into the background of a the smart device. It comes with a touch screen, built-in battery and a swivel stand.

The South Korean company explained that Objet TV includes a livery of luxurious Kvadrat fabric, which is covered in beige, green or red wood.

LG did not reveal the technical data of the new smart TV, except that it is equipped with a 65-inch OLED Evo panel. It is paired with a 4.2 audio system with an output power of 80 watts.

The company also did not reveal the date of the launch of the new Objet TV or its prices.

Objet TV is different and sophisticated, as it is covered in fabric. So, when you are not using it, the TV can completely blend into the background, which is ideal if you or your guests do not like TVs, but need to have them anyway.

The cover can also be remotely controlled and raised to different levels – for example, where the TV can be partially covered to display only “a curated selection of lifestyle functions.”

Objet TVs may find their place in art galleries or other luxury spaces frequented by people who do not like the looks of TVs.

Technology clash

The United States has led the world in the field of technology since the early days of the Cold War. Throughout the so-called American century, it occupied space, led the Internet revolution, and provided the world with the most prominent innovations.

In recent years, China has made impressive efforts to become the world’s technological leader, investing hundreds of billions of dollars in the development of robotics, artificial intelligence, microelectronics, green energy, and more.

In a report published by the Foreign Affairs, authors Christopher Darby and Sarah Sewall say that Washington’s concerns about Chinese technological progress are mainly focused on the military side, while defense capabilities are only one aspect of the technological leadership struggle between the great powers.
