Washington D.C. (Business News Report)|| Apple has launched a new operating system for its smartwatch, during an international conference held by the giant technology company for developers.
Apple said that the new operating system, WatchOS 9, will allow installing applications on the home screen of the watch for easy access.
It also added new features to the fitness app, and a heart rate monitor, which helps determine how difficult physical exercises are.
The new operating system, which Apple released iOS 16 during the conference of developers, includes for the first time a fitness system that supports motion sensors to track physical exercises.
With the new operating system WatchOS 9, it launched the Sleep Stages health tracking application, which tracks wake rates, deep sleep and interrupted sleep.
The application conducts research on what it observes on the user during sleep, and the data collected by the application can be used for official medical examinations.
Through the new operating system for the Apple Watch, WatchOS 9, Apple also launched a new health application called Medications, which alerts the user to the times to take medications, especially for those who take multiple medications.
The application is able to sense the quantities of drugs that are in excess of the need when taking medications by using the iPhone’s camera and connecting it to the application.
The application can also alert the user in the event of a drug conflict with the consumption of alcoholic beverages or harmful beverages that oppose the drug substance.
In a related context, the WWDC 2022 Apple worldwide developers conference kicked off, an event in which the company showcases the next generation of its hardware operating systems.
The company will introduce the new operating systems that run all iPhones, Macs, iPads, Apple Watches and Apple TV as well.
Many technical sources, including the 9to5Mac website and Tom’s Guide, revealed what is expected to be announced during the event, which will be held online, as it was in the recent events.
According to expectations, Apple will not only reveal the following major advantages of its new software, but will also provide beta versions for developers to update each operating system after the keynote.
Apple will provide more stable beta builds over the following weeks and months, and fall will see the final versions released along with new devices when they are released.
