BREXIT: Immigration of EU nationals to Britain has dropped below 100,000
Quarterly migration figures show more people from within the bloc are still coming to live in the UK than going home, but the number is at its lowest since 2012 at about 90,000.
One senior Leave source said: “It shows Brexit was the right move to help us control immigration better.”
Meanwhile gaffe-prone Diane Abbott sparked outrage when she compared modern immigration fears amongst Brits to Germany in the lead-up to the Second World War.
