Dubai – Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Services Group announced that its net profit rose by 5.6 percent during the first nine months of 2026, reaching 1.85 billion riyals, equivalent to approximately 493 million dollars. This marks an improvement from the 1.75 billion riyals recorded in the same period last year. The financial results, published on Sunday, highlight sustained momentum across the group’s core business segments.

Total revenues increased by 15.4 percent to reach 11.54 billion riyals, or about 3.08 billion dollars, compared to 10.01 billion riyals in the corresponding period of 2025. This represents a growth of 1.54 billion riyals. The surge was primarily fueled by performance in the hospital and pharmacy sectors, supported by higher patient volumes and improved occupancy rates.

Quarterly Performance Highlights

In the third quarter alone, net profit climbed 13.2 percent to 681.6 million riyals, or 181.8 million dollars, up from 602.28 million riyals a year earlier. Revenues grew 18.4 percent to 4.10 billion riyals. On a quarterly basis, net profit rose 2.9 percent from the second quarter, while revenues increased 2.4 percent, reflecting steady operational efficiency gains.

Operational Expansion Impact

The group attributed the profit improvement to rising revenues and enhanced operational activity, which helped cover fixed costs. New hospitals under strategic expansion plans are still ramping up operations but are gradually moving toward optimal capacity utilization. Operating profit for the nine-month period grew 11.4 percent to 2.16 billion riyals, while gross profit rose 9.2 percent to 3.43 billion riyals.

Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization reached 2.97 billion riyals, a 16 percent increase. The margin stood at 25.76 percent. For the third quarter, EBITDA jumped 21.2 percent to 1.08 billion riyals, with margins improving to 26.29 percent. Earnings per share totaled 5.28 riyals, up from 5 riyals previously. Total equity excluding non-controlling interests rose to 8.48 billion riyals.
