NEW DELHI: Shares of the D-Mart parent Avenue Supermarts climbed over 4 per cent in afternoon trade on Thursday after 20 lakh shares traded in a block deal, ETNow reported. At 01:17 pm, stock of the company was trading at Rs 1,171.80 a piece on BSE, up 4.51 per cent.
The company has been on a roll ever since its debut on the bourses in March when it surged 115 per cent on the listing day.
The company posted a whopping 65.2 per cent YoY increase in PAT at Rs 191 crore for the quarter ended September 2017. It had posted Rs 115.64 crore profit a year ago.
Currently, the m-cap of the company stands at Rs 72,590.39 crore.
