Reliance Power surges 7%"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>NEW DELHI: Power stocks were trading mixed during afternoon trade on Thursday. <\/p>\n<p>The BSE Power index was trading almost flat at 2,140 around 1 pm. <\/p>\n<p>Shares of <a href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/reliance-power-ltd\/stocks\/companyid-4422.cms\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Reliance Power<\/a> (up 6.75 per cent), Reliance Infrastructure (up 3.54 per cent), Adani Transmission (up 2.97 per cent) and Torrent Power (up 2.88 per cent) were the top gainers among the power stocks. <\/p>\n<p>JSW Energy (up 1.51 per cent), BHEL (up 0.76 per cent), CG Power and Industrial Solutions (up 0.20 per cent), <a href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/kec-international-ltd\/stocks\/companyid-16054.cms\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">KEC International<\/a> (up 0.13 per cent) and <a href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/tata-power-company-ltd\/stocks\/companyid-12918.cms\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Tata Power Company<\/a> (up 0.12 per cent) were also in the green. <\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, PTC India (down 7.12 per cent) was the top loser in the power index.  <\/p>\n<p>CESC (down 0.62 per cent), <a href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/ntpc-ltd\/stocks\/companyid-12316.cms\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">NTPC<\/a> (down 0.62 per cent), ABB India (down 0.45 per cent), NHPC (down 0.38 per cent), GMR Infrastructure (down 0.27 per cent), <a href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/suzlon-energy-ltd\/stocks\/companyid-1209.cms\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Suzlon Energy<\/a> (down 0.22 per cent) and Siemens (down 0.18 per cent) were also in the red.  <\/p>\n<p>Power Grid Corporation of India and <a href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/adani-power-ltd\/stocks\/companyid-23479.cms\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Adani Power<\/a> were trading flat around that time.  <\/p>\n<p>Benchmark BSE Sensex was 109 points down at 35,278, while the NSE Nifty50 index was down 29 points at 10,712. <\/p>\n<p>In the Sensex index, 11 stocks were trading up, while 20 stocks were down. <\/p>\n<p>Tata Motors, with a gain of over 2 per cent, was leading the pack of Sensex gainers. <\/p>\n<p>On the contrary, Tata Steel, falling over 2 per cent, was leading the pack of Sensex losers.  <\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/blockads.fivefilters.org\/\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\"><\/a><\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/blockads.fivefilters.org\/acceptable.html\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/markets\/stocks\/news\/market-now-power-stocks-trade-mixed-reliance-power-surges-7\/articleshow\/64203701.cms\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Original Article<\/a><\/p>\n<p>[contf]<br \/>\n[contfnew]<br \/>\n        <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/img.etimg.com\/photo\/60278104.cms\"\/><\/p>\n<h5><a href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">ET Markets<\/a><\/h5>\n<p>[contfnewc]<br \/>\n[contfnewc]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NEW DELHI: Power stocks were trading mixed during afternoon ..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":78414,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[202],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-78413","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-finance"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.9 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/product\/yoast-seo-wordpress\/ -->\n<title>Market Now: Power stocks trade mixed;
