The pound was hovering around $1.352 at the time of writing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Read more: <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cityam.com\/285557\/poor-weather-puts-damper-bank-england-rate-hike\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Poor weather puts a dampener on Bank of England rate hike as policymakers adopt wait and see approach for economic growth<\/a><\/p>\n<p>In what is otherwise a quiet day, European Central Bank President <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cityam.com\/people\/mario-draghi\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Mario Draghi<\/a> could provide some excitement when he gives his State of the Union address in Florence.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;Draghi is expected to talk up the eurozone economy, despite economic data starting to prelude to a slowdown in momentum,&quot; said LCG&#039;s Jasper Lawler.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;Yet even if the message is talking up the economy we expect him to do so in a cautious tone.
