Pfizer<\/a> posts 54% YoY rise in Q4 profit at Rs 104 crore <\/p>\n

Pfizer on Monday posted 53.60 per cent year-on-year rise in profit at Rs 104.51 crore for the quarter ended March 31. It had posted a net profit of Rs 68.04 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. <\/p>\n

Revenue of the drug firm increased 14.73 per cent to Rs 519.95 crore during the quarter under review against Rs 453.17 crore in the same period last year. <\/p>\n

The board of the company also recommended a dividend<\/a> of Rs 20 per equity share on face value of Rs 10 each for the financial year ended March 31, 2018. <\/p>\n

Total expenses stood at Rs 398.64 crore in Q4FY18 over Rs 375.10 crore in Q4FY17. <\/p>\n

Earnings per share came at Rs 22.84 for the quarter ended March 2018 against Rs 14.87 per cent in the same period last year. The figure stood at Rs 19.07 in the sequential quarter ended December 2017. <\/p>\n

Earlier, in the day, share price of the company closed 7.76 per cent up at Rs 2501.40, whereas BSE Sensex<\/a> settled 292.76 points, or 0.84 per cent, up at 35,208.14. <\/p>\n
