MSCIs broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares outside Japan bounced back from three-week lows plumbed the previous day and gained 0.35 per cent. Japans Nikkei rose 0.7 per cent.<\/p>\n<h2>Corporate news<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Barclays <\/strong>\u2013 the bank is releasing its Q1 results today, as is Royal Dutch Shell<\/li>\n<li><strong>Domino&#039;s Pizza <\/strong>\u2013  the pizza chain will issues a trading announcement today. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cityam.com\/company\/taylor-wimpey\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Taylor Wimpey<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cityam.com\/company\/weir-group\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Weir Group<\/a> will also make announcements<\/li>\n<li><strong>AssetCo <\/strong>\u2013 is one of many companies holding their AGMs today.
