{"id":65379,"date":"2018-02-22T08:08:17","date_gmt":"2018-02-22T08:08:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bnreport.com\/market-now-bse-midcap-index-down-vakrangee-plunges-5\/"},"modified":"2018-02-22T08:08:17","modified_gmt":"2018-02-22T08:08:17","slug":"market-now-bse-midcap-index-down-vakrangee-plunges-5","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bnreport.com\/en\/market-now-bse-midcap-index-down-vakrangee-plunges-5\/","title":{"rendered":"Market Now: BSE Midcap index down; Vakrangee plunges 5%"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>    NEW DELHI: The BSE Midcap was trading 0.10 per cent down at 16,395 around 10:50 am (IST) on Thursday, with shares of Vakrangee (down 4.99 per cent) as the top losers.   <\/p>\n<p>Sun TV Network (down 2.67 per cent), Dalmia Bharat (down 1.95 per cent), Cummins India (down 1.86 per cent), Emami (down 1.26 per cent), Bharat Electronics (down 1.23 per cent), <a href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/central-bank-of-india\/stocks\/companyid-11944.cms\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Central Bank of India<\/a> (down 1.21 per cent), Endurance Technologies (down 1.15 per cent), The Ramco Cements (down 1.10 per cent), Berger Paints (India) (down 1.10 per cent), Bank of India (down 1.05 per cent), Mahindra &amp; Mahindra Financial Services (down 1.04 per cent) were also among the losers in the BSE Midcap index.   <\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, shares of Biocon (up 4.07 per cent), Larsen &amp; Toubro Infotech (up 3.28 per cent), GRUH Finance (up 3.04 per cent), <a href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/mphasis-ltd\/stocks\/companyid-8684.cms\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">MphasiS<\/a> (up 2.62 per cent), Shriram Transport Finance Company (up 2.09 per cent) and <a href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/glaxosmithkline-consumer-healthcare-ltd\/stocks\/companyid-13657.cms\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare<\/a> (up 2.09 per cent) were among the top gainers in the midcap index.   <\/p>\n<p>Benchmark indices were in the negative zone, tracking global cues.
