{"id":28914,"date":"2017-12-08T21:52:05","date_gmt":"2017-12-08T21:52:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bnreport.com\/beware-of-companies-offering-exorbitant-returns-sebi\/"},"modified":"2017-12-08T21:52:06","modified_gmt":"2017-12-08T21:52:06","slug":"beware-of-companies-offering-exorbitant-returns-sebi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bnreport.com\/en\/beware-of-companies-offering-exorbitant-returns-sebi\/","title":{"rendered":"Beware of companies offering exorbitant returns: Sebi"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>    Sebi has advised investors to stay away from lucrative return offers of new companies in its bid to prevent them from falling prey to fraudsters.   <\/p>\n<p>&quot;Beware of companies offering exorbitant returns such as unregistered collective investment scheme&quot;, regional director of Sebi, Sharad Sharma said at an investors&#039; awareness programme here.   <\/p>\n<p>The programme \u2014 Financial Inclusion through Financial Education \u2014 was jointly organised by National Stock Exchange of <a href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/India\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">India<\/a> Limited (<a href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/NSE\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">NSE<\/a>), in association with Sebi, ICICI <a href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/definition\/Mutual-Fund\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Mutual Fund<\/a> and RCA Girls PG College Mathura, to educate people about benefits of financial markets and to make them aware about opportunities to grow their <a href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/wealth\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">wealth<\/a>.   <\/p>\n<p>Sharma disclosed various initiatives of Sebi in imparting financial education amongst general public.
