Experts suggest it would be either a collective commitment or individual efforts from each firm.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Currently, the three technology giants have not made any remarks or commented on any of the investment speculation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Thavisin stated those updates during a press statement in Bangkok after he participated in New York\u2019s UN General Assembly.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the meeting, he sat with top officials from these companies to further discuss details.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Improving Economy of Thailand <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This fresh influx of foreign investment is going to reinvigorate Thailand\u2019s economy, which currently faces challenges due to weaker exports.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Economic growth for this year is forecasted at 2.8%, slightly lower than previous projections.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Thavisin also disclosed that he held discussions with Tesla\u2019s CEO, Elon Musk, regarding the electric vehicle sector.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Thailand is recognised as Asia\u2019s fourth-largest automobile assembly hub.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It has also been actively luring EV and battery manufacturers through incentives and extending tax cuts to domestic EV buyers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The country is aiming to maintain its status as a prominent regional automotive centre.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>BNR \u2013 Prime Minister of Thailand, Srettha Thavisin, announced they\u2019ll secure investments totalling at least $5 billion from Tesla, Google, and Microsoft.
