The firm\u00a0stated that it will completely implement Tesla\u2019s charging technology by 2025.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mercedes-Benz\u00a0joins a growing number of car manufacturers\u00a0who have entered into comparable\u00a0agreements with Tesla. The Mercedes-Benz agreement puts Tesla one step closer to becoming the electric vehicle (EV) standard.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tesla\u2019s North American Charging Standard (<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/North_American_Charging_Standard\">NACS<\/a>) will be completely integrated into the German prestigious\u00a0car manufacturer\u2019s\u00a0electric car fleet. Effective\u00a0next year, North American drivers will have access to over 12,000 Tesla supercharger stations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tesla calls its rapid\u00a0charging facilities \u201cSuperchargers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mercedes will also construct its own charging system, which will be available to a wide selection\u00a0of EV owners. It intends to build over 2,000 charging stations throughout North America, Europe, and China by the conclusion of the decade. There will be 400 of them in North America.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Highways Without Chargers<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Many states in the US\u00a0are pushing for the use of electric vehicles. However, some experts\u00a0have brought to light\u00a0that huge stretches of roadways lack charging infrastructure. As a result, electric vehicles are not a practical alternative for many Americans, and the matter is becoming more pressing. Several states, notably California and New York, have introduced legislation to limit the sale of new gasoline-powered automobiles by 2035.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tesla CEO Elon Musk urged\u00a0other EV manufacturers in November\u00a0to produce vehicles that could utilise Tesla charging stations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ford said in May that its vehicles will be able to use Tesla\u2019s widespread\u00a0EV charging network. Rivian, GM, and now Mercedes have all joined.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cWith the development of Mercedes-Benz\u2019s new North American High-Power Charging Network,\u201d said Andrew Cornelia, CEO of Mercedes-Benz HPC North America. \u201cwe are ready to redefine the electric vehicle charging experience.\u201d<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Mercedes-Benz: First German Automaker to Integrate NACS<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mercedes-Benz claims to be the first German automaker to include NACS ports in its new electric automobiles. It will also provide a plug converter for vehicles equipped with the Combined Charging System (<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Combined_Charging_System\">CCS<\/a>)\u00a0built before 2025.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">CCS chargers are utilised by the majority of other EV manufacturers, including General Motors, Audi, and Rivian.
