According to <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/elonmusk\/status\/1675187969420828672?s=20\">Elon Musk<\/a>, the measure aims\u00a0to deter excessive data scraping and system abuse.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Initially, verified users were limited to reading 6,000 posts each day. Unverified accounts, on the other hand, were limited to 600 posts per day, with new unverified accounts limited to 300.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Ext<\/strong><strong>ension of Daily Reading Restrictions<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The temporary reading restriction for verified\u00a0accounts\u00a0was eventually extended to 10,000 posts per day. Also, it has been extended to 1,000 posts per day for unverified users and 500 posts per day for new unverified users.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Musk mentioned the hike in a separate tweet\u00a0without offering any other information.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Twitter recently declared that in order to access tweets, users will need to have an account on the social media network. According to Musk&#8217;s statement on Friday, the decision is a &#8220;temporary emergency measure.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Musk said that hundreds of firms, if not thousands, were harvesting Twitter data &#8220;extremely aggressively,&#8221; negatively harming the\u00a0user experience.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Harvesting Twitter Data to Train AI<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Musk has previously indicated his dissatisfaction with artificial intelligence companies\u00a0such as OpenAI, the owner of ChatGPT.
