Many experts had expected weak or even negative job growth in the first month of 2022.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Last month, bars and restaurants were among the most prominent establishments in the entertainment and hospitality sector that witnessed employment. The sector created 151,000 jobs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The professional and commercial services sector created 86,000 jobs. The retail sector created 61,000 jobs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The US economy has created 1.19 million jobs since the peak of the COVID-19 outbreak in April 2020.
