The number was at $9.429 billion in 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Imports of diesel, the most prominent oil product, have decreased to $858 million. In 2019, the number was at $3.815 billion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The gasoline 95 imports decreased to $609 million, after reaching $1.487 billion in 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Egyptian oil imports<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>CAPMAS said liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) imports decreased from $1.053 billion in 2019 to $840 million in 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The agency said Algeria incurred the most decline in oil imports. Imports of LPG, diesel and gasoline 95 decreased to $161 million in 2020, compared to $478 million in 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Saudi Arabia incurred a decrease in the value of its imports of crude oil, LPG, diesel and gasoline 95, from $3.415 billion in 2019 to $2.274 billion in 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Other countries<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Kuwait also witnessed an imports decline in terms of crude oil and diesel. The country recorded imports of $1.961 billion, compared to $2.102 billion in 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Greece recorded a decline in imports of LPG and Diesel fuel, from $546 million to $109 million in 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Turkish imports of gasoline 95 have decreased significantly, recording $64 million in 2020, compared to $469 million in 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Egyptian Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics was established in 1964. It is the official body to provide data, statistics and reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The agency works to collect, process, analyze and publish all statistical data and censuses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It owns well-trained human resources and high-level technical experts, and has recently adopted computing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recently, Egyptian Natural Gas Holding (EGAS) said Egypt has<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bnreport.com\/egypt-raises-gas-production\/\"> increased its gas production<\/a> for the current fiscal year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The fiscal year in Egypt begins on the first of July and ends on the thirty-first of June of each year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Egyptian Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) said the total value of Egyptian oil imports decreased by 32.2% in 2020.
