President Donald Trump will travel to the World Economic Forums annual meeting during the Senate impeachment trial, a White House adviser said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat is the plan. The plan is for the president to go to Davos. He read the delegation, and hes got a lot to talk about,\u201d Kellyanne Conway, a top adviser to Trump, told reporters<\/a> outside the White House in Washington on Thursday.<\/p>\n

She said Trump is likely to \u201ctake on the perils of socialism right there in Davos and talk about what happens when you \u2026 recalibrate, rebalance these major trade deals.\u201d She added that \u201ca lot of the worlds economy can exhale now that China and the U.S. have completed phase one of the trade deal.\u201d<\/p>\n

The forums meeting will take place in Davos, Switzerland, from Jan. 21 to Jan. 24. The Senate impeachment trial is expected to start on Jan. 21.<\/p>\n

The forums website lists Trump among the speakers.<\/p>\n

Conway also noted that the U.S.-Mexico-Canada trade deal was expected to be passed by the Senate on Jan. 16.<\/p>\n

\u201cHell continue to talk about the stock market, getting NATO members to pay up, to provide for the common security. And elsewise, hell talk about the global economy,\u201d Conway said.<\/p>\n

\u201cHes got a great message to deliver there in Davos, and the plan is for him to be there.\u201d<\/p>\n

Conway said the Houses impeachment cases gaps have prompted Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) to repeatedly call for new witnesses and documents.<\/p>\n
