We will see if it is possible for the British parliament to accept the Withdrawal Agreement, and to take a decision,\u201d Michel told reporters.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd if it is the case, we are ready for the next steps. We have a way of working in order to guarantee the unity of the European countries, to guarantee the transparency and to try to keep a close cooperation with the United Kingdom.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said the EU would wait for the official result and then want to hear from the U.K. prime minister \u201cjust to be reassured\u201d about the way ahead.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are all set for whatever case is happening. We have the structures internally. We are ready to negotiate whatever is necessary,\u201d she said.
