But hes not going to publicly make a one-term pledge,\u201d another top Biden adviser said, according to Politico.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\nLots of chatter out there on this so just want to be crystal clear: this is not a conversation our campaign is having and not something VP Biden is thinking about. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/mXNEnX6GrU\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/t.co\/mXNEnX6GrU<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Kate Bedingfield (@KBeds) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/KBeds\/status\/1204793252337065984?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">December 11, 2019<\/a>\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Kate Bedingfield, deputy campaign manager for Biden, pushed back on Dec. 11, linking to the story and writing in a statement: \u201cLots of chatter out there on this so just want to be crystal clear: this is not a conversation our campaign is having and not something VP Biden is thinking about.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But that statement prompted Associated Press reporter Meg Kinnard to respond, writing that Politico reporter Ryan Lizza \u201cdidnt make this story up.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI can assure you. Biden told me\u2014on the record\u2014he would not commit to two terms when I interviewed him in October.
