Former Vice President Joe Biden and Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) both expressed openness to naming the other their vice president if they win the Democratic presidential nomination.<\/p>\n

Biden, 77, and Warren, 70, are two of the top contenders vying to challenge Republican President Donald Trump, 73.<\/p>\n

\u201cId add Sen. Warren to the list. Id add all\u2026\u201d Biden told Axios<\/a> in an interview released on Dec. 8. \u201cBut shes going to be very angry, my having said that. The question is, would she add me to her list?\u201d<\/p>\n

Biden was asked why he didnt name Warren when he reeled off the descriptions of a number of people earlier this year while discussing potential vice presidents.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe reason I was reluctant to mention anyone, is because, first of all, if I mention anyone who is running, first of all, its presumptuous for me to even decide who Id have as the vice president. Im not even the nominee yet, thats number one,\u201d Biden added.<\/p>\n

Warren told the Associated Press<\/a> on Sunday that she would be \u201copen\u201d to asking Biden to reprise his old job.<\/p>\n

She also said that she would consider naming a female vice president. \u201cSure, why not?\u201d she said. \u201cI think [voters] would support a lot of different combinations.\u201d<\/p>\n
