President Donald Trump called ABC \u201cvery deceptive\u201d in response to a reporters question on Wednesday, noting the network took down a video<\/a> it claimed was from the Syrian border but was actually from a Kentucky gun range.<\/p>\n

ABC reporter Jon Karl asked Trump at a press conference at the White House: \u201cYou dont have any regret for giving [Turkish President] Erdogan the green light to invade?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI didnt give him a green light. \u2026 When you make a statement like that, its so deceptive. Just the opposite of a green light.\u201d<\/p>\n

Trump defended withdrawing American troops from Syria before slamming ABC for its major error.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen you ask a question like that, thats very deceptive, Jon. Its almost as deceptive as you showing all of the bombings taking place in Syria and it turned out that the bombing that you showed on television took place in Kentucky. Im not even sure that ABC apologized for that, but certainly it was a terrible thing.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was in Kentucky, it wasnt in Syria. But I think ABC owes an apology,\u201d Trump added.<\/p>\n

Karl did not respond to Trump about his networks error. Karl has not shared information about the error on his Twitter feed.<\/p>\n
