{"id":121736,"date":"2019-06-07T04:40:45","date_gmt":"2019-06-07T04:40:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bnreport.com\/co-location-case-sat-rejects-nse-plea-for-bank-guarantee-to-sebi\/"},"modified":"2019-06-07T04:40:45","modified_gmt":"2019-06-07T04:40:45","slug":"co-location-case-sat-rejects-nse-plea-for-bank-guarantee-to-sebi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bnreport.com\/en\/co-location-case-sat-rejects-nse-plea-for-bank-guarantee-to-sebi\/","title":{"rendered":"Co-location case: SAT rejects NSE plea for bank guarantee to Sebi"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>New Delhi: Securities Appellate Tribunal (<a href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/SAT\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">SAT<\/a>) Thursday rejected <a href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/NSE\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">NSE<\/a>&#039;s plea for allowing it to provide <a href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/bank-guarantee\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">bank guarantee<\/a> instead of transferring Rs 687 crore from escrow account to <a href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/Sebi\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Sebi<\/a> in co-location case.<\/p>\n<p>The tribunal, however, granted an additional week to the exchange to comply with the May 22 order which directed NSE to transfer Rs 687 crore to Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) within two weeks from the escrow account.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;In our view, we do not find any reason to modify our order dated May 22, 2019.
