We&#039;ll be highlighting not only the cheapest TVs we find \u2014 the infamous in-store-only &quot;doorbusters&quot; designed to get you to the retailer Friday morning \u2014 but also deals on TVs we actually recommend, many of which you can find online.     <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnet.com\/news\/black-friday-2018-when-to-shop\/\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Black Friday is Nov. 23<\/a> this year, but most retailers have already published their Black Friday sale prices in an attempt to get you into stores, or online. We&#039;ll be working with <a href=\"https:\/\/bestblackfriday.com\/\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">BestBlackFriday.com<\/a> to bring you the best deals as soon as we know about them, right here. <\/p>\n<p>Before we get to the deals, here&#039;s what you need to know.     <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This update incorporates the latest sales from Best Buy, Wal-mart, Target, Costco, Sam&#039;s Club, BJ&#039;s, Dell, Shopko, Meijer, JCPenney, Belk and Samsung.com.<\/li>\n<li>The only major missing link is Amazon, and we expect to post it within the week.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Deal availability varies per store, and links to specific TVs at stores might not show the Black Friday 2018 price until the sale starts.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>CNET may get a share of revenue from the sale of the products featured below.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Alright, let&#039;s get to it.     <\/p>\n<h2> \t \t \t \t \tBest deals on TVs that are actually good     <\/h2>\n<p>We&#039;re gonna start with the best of the best. Only available in a 65-inch size, the Quantum delivers image quality that&#039;s the next-best thing to OLED TVs. And since <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnet.com\/news\/lg-oled-tv-black-friday-2018-sale-no-big-deal-yet\/\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">OLED sets aren&#039;t seeing steep discounts<\/a> this year, this is the best deal for videophiles on a budget. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Update<\/strong>: Originally this sale was $1,400 and Costco only, but it will also be available at Target for $1,500. This model is exclusive to Best Buy but basically identical to the one we named our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnet.com\/topics\/tvs\/best-tvs\/\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">favorite TV for the money<\/a> in 2018. In-store starts at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is an insane price on a big TV with Roku, the best smart TV system CNET has ever tested. <\/p>\n<p>Walmart&#039;s ad says the TV is either the TCL 65S4 or the Sharp LC\u201165Q7300U, and that brands and models vary per store. We haven&#039;t reviewed either model directly, but TCL tells us the 65S4 has &quot;similar form and function&quot; to the 55-inch <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnet.com\/reviews\/tcl-s405-series-2017-roku-tv-review\/\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">55S405<\/a> we reviewed in 2017 (pictured). We expect similar picture quality from both sets \u2014 decent but nowhere near as good as the 6 series, for example. This 50-incher is currently available at Dell&#039;s site for $350, but if you want $100 Dell.com gift card, you&#039;ll have to wait for the sale. (The image above depicts the 65-inch size we reviewed.)<\/p>\n<p>For a home-theater-worthy size, Costco, Walmart and Target have the 70-inch <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnet.com\/reviews\/vizio-e-series-2018-review\/\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">E70-F3<\/a> for <strong>$750<\/strong> online and in-store Nov. 16 through Nov. 26. <\/p>\n<p>It&#039;s also worth mentioning that the cheaper D-Series is on sale at numerous outlets, but image quality won&#039;t be as good on that set since it lacks local dimming. Fire TV isn&#039;t not our favorite smart TV system \u2014 that honor goes to Roku \u2014 but it&#039;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnet.com\/reviews\/element-el4kamz4317-amazon-fire-tv-edition-review\/\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">still very good<\/a>, and this price is pure insanity. The cheapest 43-inch Roku TV, the 43S305, costs $220, and it&#039;s 1080p, not 4K. <\/p>\n<p>Best Buy is also selling a <a href=\"https:\/\/click.linksynergy.com\/deeplink?id=0JlRymcP1YU&amp;mid=38606&amp;murl=https:\/\/www.bestbuy.com\/site\/insignia-50-class-led-2160p-smart-4k-uhd-tv-with-hdr-fire-tv-edition\/6245704.p?\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">50-inch Fire TV Edition from Insignia<\/a> for not-quite-as-good-but-still-phenomenal price of <strong>$280<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>And there&#039;s a <a href=\"https:\/\/bestblackfriday.com\/deal\/149233\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">65-inch Element Fire TV Edition<\/a> at Meijer for the [insert adjective here] price of <strong>$400<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>                                           <a href=\"https:\/\/redirect.viglink.com\/?key=4f9aabd355fb32289803410c24d4d8e3&amp;u=https%3A%2F%2Fclick.linksynergy.com%2Fdeeplink%3Fid%3D0JlRymcP1YU%26mid%3D38606%26murl%3Dhttps%3A%2F%2Fwww.bestbuy.com%2Fsite%2Ftoshiba-43-class-led-1080p-smart-hdtv-fire-tv-edition%2F6211006.p%3F&amp;reaf=false&amp;opt=false\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">See at Best Buy<\/a>                   <\/p>\n<h2> \t \tSo what about those other Black Friday TV sales?  <\/h2>\n<p>The fact is that most TVs on sale for Black Friday fall into two distinct categories:   <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dirt-cheap sets from unknown or older brands (Element, Westinghouse, Magnavox, Polaroid)<\/li>\n<li>Entry-level or one-off (&quot;special purchase&quot;) sets from popular brands like Samsung, LG, Sony and Vizio<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We don&#039;t review any of the former category and very few of the latter so we can&#039;t recommend them directly. That said <strong>we don&#039;t expect any of the to outperform the Vizio E series or the TCL 6 series above<\/strong>, and in many cases they&#039;ll cost more. In other words, in the latter case you&#039;re often paying extra just for a brand name.  <\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile the better, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnet.com\/topics\/tvs\/best-tvs\/\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">higher-end name-brand sets we do review<\/a> are also on sale, but they&#039;re not nearly as cheap as these entry-level models.  <\/p>\n<p>All of that said, if you&#039;re OK taking a flyer on a cheap TV, or you really want a Samsung, Sony or LG instead of a Vizio or a TCL, there are plenty of other sale prices to be had. Here&#039;s a selection.     <\/p>\n<h2> \t \tCheapest Black Friday TVs (that aren&#039;t necessarily good deals)  <\/h2>\n<p>Below you&#039;ll find the cheapest TVs we found for Black Friday, regardless of whether we recommend them or not. While a few are available online, many are classic doorbusters \u2014 in-store only during the store&#039;s Black Friday sale, available only in limited quantities. <\/p>\n<p>We picked the TVs on the list below from a much larger collection of pretty much every Black Friday TV 2018 TV sale price (aside from Amazon, which isn&#039;t available yet), painstakingly created by the folks at BestBlackFriday.com \u2014 many store links go to the deal details there. That&#039;s also cheaper by area than any 2017 Black Friday TV we tracked. <\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/bestblackfriday.com\/deal\/145185\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Target<\/a> has a 40-inch 1080p Westinghouse for $125.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/bestblackfriday.com\/deal\/150608\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Best Buy<\/a> has a 39-inch Insignia and midwestern supercenter chain <a href=\"https:\/\/bestblackfriday.com\/deal\/149232\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Meijer<\/a> has a 40-inch Element, both for $130.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2> \t43-inch TVs: $130 to $280 <\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Best Buy&#039;s crazy 43-inch Fire TV deal, highlighted above, is the only 43-inch TV under $200. Better yet, the Meijer is a Roku TV.<\/li>\n<li>Roku TVs are also available for $250 from other retailers. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bestbuy.com\/site\/sharp-55-class-led-2160p-smart-4k-uhd-tv-with-hdr-roku-tv\/5712157.p\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Best Buy<\/a> has a Sharp LC-55LBU591U while <a href=\"https:\/\/bestblackfriday.com\/deal\/150379\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Walmart<\/a> rocks a Hisense 55R6000E. <\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/bestblackfriday.com\/deal\/144143\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Shopko<\/a> tempt shoppers with a Polaroid for $300, but it&#039;s a tough sell for $50 more sans Roku, and again you&#039;ll need to mail in to get the rebate.<\/li>\n<li>Samsung&#039;s NU6900 series is at it again, priced at $400 in pretty much every store: <a href=\"https:\/\/bestblackfriday.com\/deal\/150590\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Best Buy<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/bestblackfriday.com\/deal\/143787\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Dell<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/bestblackfriday.com\/deal\/149243\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Meijer<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/bestblackfriday.com\/deal\/144164\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Shopko<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/bestblackfriday.com\/deal\/143557\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Target<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/bestblackfriday.com\/deal\/150438\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Walmart<\/a>. LG is charging the same price for the UK6090 series at <a href=\"https:\/\/bestblackfriday.com\/deal\/153768\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Sam&#039;s Club<\/a> and, yes, <a href=\"https:\/\/bestblackfriday.com\/deal\/143936\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">JC Penny<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2> \t65-inch TVs: $400 to $650 <\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>There are a few 58- and 60-inch TV deals, but their price per inch falls well short of the best 65-inch TV prices, so we&#039;re ignoring them here. <\/li>\n<li>The best prices at this size come courtesy of the $400 Roku (at <a href=\"https:\/\/bestblackfriday.com\/deal\/150390\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Walmart<\/a>) and Amazon Fire TV Edition (at <a href=\"https:\/\/bestblackfriday.com\/deal\/149233\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Meijer<\/a>) sets noted above. From there prices go to $530 for a Philips at <a href=\"https:\/\/bestblackfriday.com\/deal\/144620\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">BJ&#039;s<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>The next price tier is $600, occupied by the Samsung UN65NU6070 at <a href=\"https:\/\/bestblackfriday.com\/deal\/150557\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Best Buy<\/a> as well as a bunch of LG 65UK6090PUA sets sold by <a href=\"https:\/\/bestblackfriday.com\/deal\/153767\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Sam&#039;s Club<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/bestblackfriday.com\/deal\/142600\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Costco<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/bestblackfriday.com\/deal\/143788\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Dell<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/bestblackfriday.com\/deal\/143937\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">JCPenney<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/bestblackfriday.com\/deal\/149228\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Meijer<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Finally there&#039;s the $650 Samsung 65NU6950, sold by the folks at <a href=\"https:\/\/bestblackfriday.com\/deal\/144555\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">BJ&#039;s<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/bestblackfriday.com\/deal\/142589\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Costco<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/bestblackfriday.com\/deal\/153212\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Samsung.com<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/bestblackfriday.com\/deal\/144166\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Shopko<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/bestblackfriday.com\/deal\/143569\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Target<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2> \t70-, 75-, 82- and 86-inch TVs: $700 to $2,500 <\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Every TV in this size range, with the exception of the $730 Vizio E70-F3 at <a href=\"https:\/\/bestblackfriday.com\/deal\/142606\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Costco<\/a> highlighted above, is from either LG or Samsung, and only at a handful of stores.<\/li>\n<li>The cheapest is the 70-inch LG 70UK6190PUB at <a href=\"https:\/\/bestblackfriday.com\/deal\/150558\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Best Buy<\/a> for $700.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/bestblackfriday.com\/deal\/150600\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Best Buy<\/a> also has a 75-inch LG from the same series, model 75UK6190PUB, for $1000. <\/li>\n<li>The 75-incher from Samsung is $1,200, model 75NU6950\/6900, available at <a href=\"https:\/\/bestblackfriday.com\/deal\/144575\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">BJ&#039;s<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/bestblackfriday.com\/deal\/150630\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Best Buy<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/bestblackfriday.com\/deal\/153210\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Samsung.com<\/a>.
