{"id":100062,"date":"2018-11-16T08:47:23","date_gmt":"2018-11-16T08:47:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bnreport.com\/france-investigates-new-cases-of-birth-defects-15\/"},"modified":"2018-11-16T08:47:23","modified_gmt":"2018-11-16T08:47:23","slug":"france-investigates-new-cases-of-birth-defects-15","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bnreport.com\/en\/france-investigates-new-cases-of-birth-defects-15\/","title":{"rendered":"France investigates new cases of birth defects"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Frances public health investigation into babies born without upper limbs will report first results in January after 11 additional cases came to light, Health Minister <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bfmtv.com\/politique\/bebes-nes-sans-bras-les-premiers-resultats-de-l-enquete-attendus-le-31-janvier-1556483.html\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Agn\u00e8s Buzyn told French TV<\/a> today.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.santepubliquefrance.fr\/Actualites\/Agenesies-transverses-des-membres-superieurs-Sante-publique-France-poursuit-ses-investigations-et-identifie-a-ce-stade-11-cas-suspects-supplementaires-dans-l-Ain-entre-2000-et-2014\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Public Health France said<\/a> it learned Monday of the suspected new cases. These babies were all born between the years 2000 and 2014 in the department of Ain. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think that all of France wants to know\u201d where these malformations came from, Buzyn told BFMTV. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe do not want to close any tracks. Maybe its an environmental trail; maybe its what they ate, what they drank; maybe its what they breathed.
