The cement maker had reported Rs 182 crore profit in the corresponding quarter last year.

Consolidated net sales rose 10 per cent to Rs 3,364 crore compared with Rs 3,054 crore last year.

Ebitda came in at Rs 444 crore, up 7 per cent over Rs 416 crore in the year-ago period.

Volume growth for the cement segment stood at 10 per cent and for ready mix concentrate at 12 per cent.
