Russian military shares video of fluffy puppies frolicking in the snow
When you think of the Russian army you think ‘fluffy puppies’, right?
Well the Russian military has just released an adorable video of puppies running around, wagging their tails, playing in the snow, and borking.
The clip – titled ‘Loyal Friends’ – was posted on the Russian Ministry of Defence’s YouTube channel, to celebrate the New Year.
It shows puppies and dogs from one of the country’s most decorated military kennels frolicking in the snow and being fed.
The 470th Service Dog Breeding Centre, which dates back to Soviet times, actually won an international competition last summer against the doggo forces of Egypt, Iran, Belarus and Uzbekhistan – because they’re all very, very good dogs.
New Year’s Eve is a big deal in Russia (as it is everywhere, really). With New Year’s out of the way, the country is now getting ready to celebrate Christmas, which according to Russian Orthodoxy falls on January 7.
Because it’s now 2018, here are some more adorable puppy pics. You’re welcome.
